Ceramic Cross Ring is improved by ceramic raschig ring, with better surface area and compressive strength than raschig ring, with excellent acid resistance and heat resistance. They can resist to corrosion of various inorganic acids, organic acids and organic solvents except hydrofluoric acid, and can be used in high or low temperature conditions. Consequently their application ranges are very wide.
Application:
Ceramic Cross Ring (Ceramic cross partition ring) can be used in the drying columns, absorbing columns, cooling towers, scrubbing towers in chemical industry, metallurgy industry, coal gas industry, industrial oxygen producing industry and other industries.
The ceramic cross ring is developed based on increasing the specific surface area of the packing and improving the ceramic Raschig ring packing to enhance the mass transfer efficiency. However, the size of the cross ring is relatively large, which is larger than that of the ordinary ceramic random packing Raschig ring Pall ring packing. The commonly used sizes are: 80mm, 100mm, 150mm, and the cross ring is suitable for overall stacking. It is generally used as a column bottom support distribution layer for random packing. As a support material, the void ratio is greater than 60%, and the number is the integer number.
