Products Introduction:
The structured packing has the advantages of large production capacity, high separation efficiency, reduced pressure, high flexibility of operation and low liquid holding capacity in fine chemicals. It is widely used in many towers in the fields of perfumery, refining, fertilizer, petrochemical and so on. At present, there are many types of structured packing, different shapes and different performances. The emergence of new types of packing has promoted the development of mass transfer separation engineering, providing more options for many precision separation processes such as isotope separation. Metal structured packing has the widest range of applications due to material advantages.
In 1964, the BX wire mesh corrugated packing invented by Sulzer in Switzerland was first used in the rectification system of heat sensitive perfume. Metal Gauze packing (Wire mesh packing) will provide a large surface area and the capillary function of the wire mesh will also increase the wettability of the surface area. The upper and lower fill trays intersect 90° when filled into the column. Wire mesh packing is made of carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminum alloy. Due to the special production process, the wire mesh packing has the advantages of thin thickness, large surface area, large free volume, low resistance and high separation efficiency. It has good processing performance and is especially suitable for vacuum distillation and precision rectification, atmospheric distillation and the absorption process of materials that are difficult to separate with heat sensitive substances. Single-layer wire mesh corrugated packing the most widely used type is 500Y. The material is mainly made of 304 and 316L stainless steel.
